This "Christmas Greetings" sampler features a brown saltbox, a Christmas tree, 2 large light blue snowflakes, the year 1853 and 2 holly leaves. It was designed and cross stitched by me on fiddlers cloth and then dyed with coffee for antique look. I love the old time look of this piece. The best part is what I mounted it to. I found an old wooden cement float block at an Antique Shop. It leans back and rests on the handle. I was going to paint it but decided I liked the plain, natural look. It measures 11 1/4" wide and 5" tall. It was mounted to the board with an acid free adhesive spray. A fun piece to use with your displays. I had it sitting on my farm table with some greens and it looked wonderful. It will be signed, dated and copyright 2011.*SOLD* Thank you, Linda!
