Thanks for stopping in and Happy Holidays almost! Time is flying by and only one more weekend til the Holidays are official! I will be decorating my home during Thanksgiving weekend as I always do. I thought this would be a good week to offer some of my new and latest creations just in case some of you will be in the decorating mode too. I have 5 new offerings below. 1751 Needle Punch Christmas Tree decorative box
If I don't sell this one its ok then I won't have to do one for myself! LOL! After stitching 100 or so feather trees over the years I really enjoyed doing this chubby full Christmas Tree. The valdani thread that was used for the tree is varigated greens and really makes the tree so cute. I did my punching on weavers cloth and of course it was coffee dyed. I did the paper mache box with a black coat and then a burgundy top coat and buffed it with shoe polish for a nice shine. The overall dimensions for this little box are about 6"x6" and 3" high. It's just a perfect size, not too small but not too big when you are in search of a filler in your Holiday decorating. Designed and punched and painted by me, it will be signed inside the box and copyright of 2009.

Three Olde Ornies
I have 3 different designed ornies or bowl fillers if you choose. Simply remove the rusty safety pins and bells and roping to be used as a bowl filler. "Let it Snow" with snowflakes and with antique wool backing, "Merry Christmas" with a cranberry poinsettia and a cranberry wool backing and "Noel" with a Christmas tree and dark green wool backing. All were designed and cross stitched by me on coffee dyed fiddlers cloth. They measure about 4" wide by 3 1/2" long. Have fun hanging these from your tree, a cupboard knob or hook.

And the Stockings were Hung....
I had a few requests for some more "And the Stockings were Hung" stitcherys so here you go! On this one I have 2 olde cranberry stockings hanging from an evergreen branch with another branch accenting the bottom. The verse is stitched in the middle along with the year 1731 for that antique look. Designed and stitched by me on coffee dyed osnaburg, I used an older frame that I painted black and distressed. There is glass and a rope for hanging. It measures 11 1/2" wide x 8 1/2" long. A nice touch to your Christmas decorating! This stitchery will comes signed and copyright 2009.

Christmas Greetings
Here is one of my own cross stitched designs. It was done free hand, no chart. A very old looking "Christmas Greetings, 1853" sampler to display in your home for the Holidays. A brown salt box, 2 pale blue snowflakes, holly berries, and a Christmas Tree were cross stitched on coffee dyed fiddlers cloth. Another one of my summer finds is this charming antique black frame with a tiny beaded edging. There is glass and I attached a rope for hanging on the back, so that it slightly will tilt away from the wall like old pictures did. The measurements are 13" W X 6 1/2"L. It will come signed and copyright 2009.

Three Christmas Stockings and Mittens Needle punch
This needle punch was designed and punched by me. I have 3 different colored striped stockings and 2 old grey mittens hanging from an evergreen bough with 2 snowflakes accenting the sides. I did my punching on coffee dyed weavers cloth using the 6 strand method with dmc and valdani thread. I mounted the needle punch to a painted black tin with an acid free adhesive. There are holes in each of the corners and I ran a wire evergreen and pinecone swag up and through the holes for hanging. The is also a little rusty star attached to the top of the swag. Measurements are 12"w x 8"L. A unique piece for your Holiday decorating this year and for years to come.

Red Stocking Needle Punch
This offering is for my Red Stocking Hanging needle punch. Its a skinny stocking punched on weavers cloth in cranberry dmc floss with a cream background that matches nicely with the crackled paint of the tin hanger. I attached a wire evergreen and pinecone branch for hanging off a peg nail, hook or knob. A simple Christmas goodie for your Holiday fun! Designed by me, will come signed, dated and copyright 2009. Measurements are 16"long including hanger and 4"wide.
